PUBLICIST & LEAD RUNWAY PHOTOGRAPHER

DUSK DEVI

Sydney based, Indo - Fijian Australian Sandhya Dusk Devi Nand is a highly experienced fashion photographer in demand for her runway photography and for campaign, editorial, branding shoots and portfolios.

Her 30 year modelling career gives her the advantage of understanding both sides of the lens as well as the rhythm of the runway. This understanding makes her a popular choice to photograph many of Sydney's important fashion shows - MBFWA, ABFW, all the main design school graduate shows and of course, Pacific Runway!- as well as International runway shows (eg. Official photographer for Fiji's most prestigious fashion event, Style Fiji 2012-14).

Dusk continues to model, for online and print work, occasionally hired to photograph herself (the two 'flying' images are self clicked) and combines her modelling skills with her background as a TV and radio presenter to share her knowledge as a Model and Presentation Coach.

Photography-wise, Dusk is also highly sought after for travel (eg. flown to Sultanate of Oman by Tourism Oman, Nepal with World Vision), performance (eg. Sydney Festival, Vivid Sydney events, NAISDA, TaikOz, Circa) and weddings (eg. flown to Fiji and NZ for celebrity weddings) and has recently ventured in to family and maternity imagery.

In addition to her creative work, Dusk is regularly hired by corporate organisations and government departments, charities, social awareness campaigners and not-for-profit organisations.

Dusk is also a writer for print and online publications on a variety of topics, primarily fashion, feminism, multi-culturalism and once upon a time, rugby union!

Dusk's dream destination is the International Space Station.

Until then, she photographs the stars from earth.
